In the 18th Century, Countess Bethlen Kata (1700-1759) channeled her faith and energy into different practical activities: supporting Protestant schools, collecting old books and manuscripts, providing all kinds of charity work and creating around herself a small court of intellectuals.
In the 21st Century, Vila Diakonia channels our faith and energy to support the diaconal projects of the Reformed Church.
